  1. Included in this file is the current version of Creative Jukebox (MMJBOX.EXE)
  2. and this readme file.  If you are upgrading from an earlier version, simply
  3. copy the new MMJBOX.EXE into the directory containing the old version.
  4. If you are installing jukebox for the first time, follow these steps:
  5.  
  6.  1) Copy MMJBOX.EXE into your \WINDOWS\ directory
  7.  2) Start Windows
  8.  3) Select the <F>ile menu from the Program Manager
  9.  4) Select <N>ew from the File Menu
  10.  5) Select Program Item and click <OK>
  11.  4) Fill out the items in the Properties Dialog Box with:
  12.  
  13.               Name: Jukebox
  14.        Commandline: MMJBOX.EXE
  15.  Working Directory: [see NOTE below]
  16.  
  17.  5) Click <OK> when done
  18.  6) Start Jukebox and start playing MIDI files!
  19.  
  20.  NOTE: The Working Directory will determine where Jukebox looks for your
  21.        MIDI files.  For instance, if you stored your MIDI files in a
  22.        directory called MIDI on your C: drive, you would put
  23.        C:\MIDI for the working directory.  Newer releases of the
  24.        Soundblaster software comes with 4 MIDI files, and they
  25.        are stored in the following directories:

  27.         C:\SB\PLAYMIDI     [for the SoundBlaster v2.0
  28.         C:\SBPRO\PLAYMIDI  [for the SoundBlaster Pro II]
  29.         C:\SB16\PLAYMIDI   [for the SoundBlaster 16]

  31.        If you have older versions of the SoundBlaster software, your
  32.        MIDI directory may be different.
